This policy covers the CloudHike.dev email service: mail your app sends through our API, from a CloudHike.dev address or from a domain you verify. By deploying the service you agree to it on behalf of yourself and your project. It adds to, and does not replace, our other terms.
Send only messages a recipient expects because of something they did with your app: account confirmations, sign-in links, password resets, receipts, invoices, notifications they turned on, and replies to their requests.
Every project can send from its own <project>@cloudhike.dev address. That domain is shared by all customers, so its reputation is protected strictly. Set replyTo to an address you read, and make clear in each message which app it comes from.
You may only add a domain you own or are authorized to use, and you prove it by publishing the DNS records we show. Free accounts may add 1 domain and Pro accounts 5. Removing the records or the domain stops sending from it at once, including scheduled email. Mail from your domain is still subject to this policy.
Free: 100 emails per 24 hours, 3,000 per month, 10 per minute and 3 recipients per request, at no charge. Pro has no daily or monthly limit: 3,000 emails per project each month are included, and each one after that is charged at $0.40 per 1,000. Pro keeps a limit of 300 per minute and 50 recipients per request, and the suspension rules below apply on every plan. Each recipient counts as one email. Messages may be scheduled up to 7 days ahead. We may change limits with notice in the dashboard.
Addresses that bounce permanently or mark a message as spam are added to a suppression list and never mailed again by any project. A project with at least 20 messages in 7 days whose bounce rate reaches 8%, or whose complaint rate reaches 0.3%, is suspended automatically.
We may also suspend or remove a project's email service, without notice, if we believe it breaks this policy or puts deliverability for other customers at risk. Contact contact@cloudhike.com to have a suspension reviewed.
We keep the sender, recipient, subject and delivery status of each message so you can see them in your logs. We do not store message bodies, except that a scheduled message is held until it is sent or cancelled. You are responsible for having a lawful basis to email your recipients.
To report spam or abuse sent through CloudHike.dev, or with any question about this policy, email contact@cloudhike.com. Include the full message headers if you can.
